Drop Off and Pick Up Etiquette
Thank you to the vast majority of our parents who continue to show patience and adherence to our drop off and pick up procedures.
As a reminder, please note that:
- We do not stop or park on Frey street. It is easily congested and restricts flow. You may use Frey to drive through, but please do not stop or park on either side of that road.
- Parking lot drop off is at the BACK of the lot. Do not stop or park in the front parking area, but drive through to the back (by the overpass) to let out your students. This is the most time efficient way to let out students and not cause a traffic backlog in the lot.
- Please park in the appropriate spots at McLean Park or along York street. At no time are drivers permitted to stop at the crosswalk or driveway to let out students.
- For the safety of all our children, ALL vehicles are to come to a complete stop at each stop line (Grant Ave. & Frey Pl.), looking both ways before proceeding.
- Enter the parking lot with caution and decreased speed, so as to see any students/parents that may be walking.
We want every family to feel safe in and around our parking lot, and we sincerely thank you for your partnership in making that possible.
