Christmas Food Hamper Collection Drive
The Christmas season is a time that emphasizes joy and celebration for most but, for those struggling, their need is felt more profoundly. We take this opportunity as a school to rally around these families and contribute to hampers to help make Christmas a joyful time for all.
In the spirit of giving, each year some families who could use some support over the holidays are identified and you have the opportunity to help them.
Our annual food drive starts on Monday, Nov. 25th and runs until Weds., Dec. 11th. Christmas-wrapped boxes will be placed at both campus offices for your unopened food items (ensure not past the best-before date).
Think of what your family enjoys eating and provide those dry ingredients for a family in need. Grocery gift cards and cash donations can be left at either office. If you’re unsure of what to donate consider these options:
- granola bars
- ramen
- pasta & sauces
- mayonnaise
- whole-grain cereals
- seaweed snacks
- canned meat (tuna, salmon, chicken)
- boxed crackers
- Christmas candy/chocolate
- Canned soups
Our Recipient Families have also identified some specific items they need. Please view this list for specific items you can bless these families with.
Contributions are voluntary; participation hours are not given for these donations.
Thank you for your help & support. If you have any questions or would like to nominate a family in need, please contact Lisa at .

Hope Lutheran Church (HLC) Welcomes You
As you start a new school year at Hope Lutheran Christian School, you might be considering finding a home church for you and your family. Hope Lutheran Church gathers every Sunday, 10:00 am and many other activities happen through the week, including Youth and Young adults groups. Adding to that, Pastor Lucas is in the office and around the school every week, as his kids also attend Hope Lutheran Christian School. You are free to talk with him at any time, he will be happy to share more about the teaching and the life of the Church. If you’re looking for a church home, give Hope a try! We look forward to welcoming you and your family into the HLC community.
