Volunteering Opportunities
Elementary Campus Lunch Supervision – Term 3 (K & Gr 1) signup sheet is open now.
The linked sign-up forms below list the available slots for Term 3 (Apr 22 – June 19, 2024). Only the START DATES have been listed. However, we are looking for parent volunteers that could commit to help on the SAME weekday(s) every week consistently in Term 3 for a total of 9 weeks. For example, if you signed up for the Mon, Apr 22 spot, you are signing up for all Mondays (when school is in session) in Term 3. To be fair to other parent volunteers, please sign up for no more than 2 weekdays. If you see your preferred weekday(s) has been taken and would like to be put on a waitlist, please email Angela at .

Gr 2-5
Please note that you will need to have a criminal record check on file at the school to volunteer for lunch supervision. If you don’t already have one, please get in contact with Janice at . Janice will provide you with instructions to do so.

CAT4/CCAT Testing
Starting this week, May 13th, until May 24th, standardized testing will be carried out. Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8 students will be tested during class time (Grades 4 and 7 already completed a standardized test in the fall – the FSAs). Results will be shared with parents once received, typically around the end of the school year. Please ensure your child is well rested and has a healthy breakfast so they can be ready to do their best work. These tests help to guide teachers and the school in our program offerings and identify areas needing support.
Sports Day
Sports Day, for gr. K – 8, will be happening on Friday, May 24th. This is a fun-filled day where students participate in different relay games with their classmates in the morning and compete against another class with the tug-of-war. Parents are more than welcome to come cheer on students and/or volunteer for different tasks during the day.
