1. Call out for Christmas Hamper Drive Coordinators – Tis the time for giving back and sharing our blessings within our HOPE SCHOOL COMMUNITY! We are looking for 3 parents to help coordinate Hamper Drive Donations and sort for Families needing our help.
2. Concession Stand at Chess Tournament!
All proceeds from food sales will go towards our Christmas Hamper!!!
The Chess tournament is open to other schools from the district. We are looking for parents who will help sell concession food items as well as helping Mr. Anderson and Mr. Payan run the Chess Tournament.
- Wednesday November 22nd, 2023 (Grades 1 to 6) Shift #1 – 3:00pm to 5:00pm & Shift #2 5:00pm to 6:45pm
- Wednesday November 29th, 2023 (Grades 7 to 12) Shift #1 – SIGN UP FOR THIS EVENT WILL BE SENT LATER
Job Requirements:
- Sell food items and manage money
- Ushering and welcoming other students from other schools directing them to the chapel
- Help answer parent and student questions
- Help tidy surrounding areas such as lobby outside chapel, inside the gym & washroom
- Shift 2 please assist with clean up and take down of tables and chairs

4. KM CLUB: The KM Club is looking for 4 parent volunteers to meet for approximately 2 hours on Friday, November 17th at 8:45 am at the school library to assemble the token chains as well as prepare the wristbands for the spring run. Please contact Maik at 604.315.8446 or if interested.
Empty Cereal Boxes
The Elementary School library is collecting empty cereal boxes to use for a craft. If you have any to provide, please drop them off at the school office.
Reading Link
Reading Link is looking for parent volunteers who are willing to read and make practice/quiz questions for grade 4 and 5 students. Your child does not need to be participating in Reading Link or be in grade 4 or 5 to be able to help. This job can be done entirely at home and volunteers can expect to complete 8-15 volunteer hours, spread out over approximately two months (Dec-Jan). Proficiency in the English language is required.
