This group meets once a week for 15-30 minutes (this year on Monday’s after morning drop off) to lift the school and its community in prayer. Final Week of the Read and Feed Challenge!
Grade 3B is in the final stretch of our Read and Feed Challenge in support of ‘Food Bank on Wheels!’ We’ve been combining our love of reading with the lessons we’ve learned in Christian Studies about the Fruit of the Spirit putting kindness, love, and generosity into action.
So far, we’ve read over 450 books, and we’re aiming for 1,000 books by Friday, June 13. Each student is collecting pledges based on the number of books they read, and every bit of support helps make a difference.
Donation boxes are now in each classroom to collect much-needed food items:
- Peanut butter
- Jam
- Honey
- Syrup (for pancakes)
- Juices
- Canned meat
- Pasta sauce
Middle school students can drop off donations at the box on their campus.
Thank you for supporting our challenge and helping us give back to the community!

Course Description: Learn to train your brain to remember extended passages from the Gospels word-perfectly. You will be amazed at how easy this is! These strategies are tried and true, and leave people wondering why they weren’t taught them years ago. The results are instant and amazing!
During the course you will:
- Learn how to initially learn the verse without the mind wandering; then how to review it so it flows from your lips; and finally, how to retain it for the long term
- Memorize the 7 Sayings from the Cross; the Fruit of the Spirit; and many other select verses during the course (We can also look at passages you want to learn.)
- Memorize the content of Mark Chapter 1 (Material is provided to continue on and memorize the content of the rest of the book.)
