Whole School Waterslide Field Trip
Parent drivers please note that communication will be emailed to you by classroom teachers regarding details about our field trip on Wednesday.
For parents who will be dropping off children at the school that day and are unable to attend themselves please note the following information:
- We are leaving the Elementary campus by 9:00 am, please arrive by 8:45 am, so rides can be sorted out
- Students will need to have a packed lunch, bathing suit, water bottle, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, hat, BOOSTER seat (for those as determined by ICBC rules), and may bring a personal floatation device if needed (No pool toys are permitted)
- Students will return to their classes around 2:00 pm and will be dismissed at 3:00 pm as per usual.
Hope Lutheran Church – Vacation Bible Camp
Hope Lutheran church Vacation Bible Camp proved to be popular and has filled quickly.
A waitlist link is now available. Should currently enrolled participants not be able to attend, we will look to the waitlist to fill the spots. In previous years, some children on the waitlist were still able to attend. Should you wish to be put on the waitlist then please sign up using the link: WAITLIST HLC VBS. Thank you.

Music Happenings

Parent Prayer
You are invited and welcome to join other parents and our school administration to pray (even if you’ve never prayed before!). Please consider setting aside 30 minutes of your time at the beginning of each week to join us for Parent Prayer as we pray for our school, families, and community.
We meet outside at the Elementary Campus by the main entrance.
Every Monday from 8:45 – 9:15 am (except for holidays).

Year-End BBQ
We are planning a year-end BBQ lunch for all our families to enjoy on the last day of school, Weds, June 21 at noon. Meals will consist of either a hot dog or hamburger with a drink; all meals are $5 each. Please pre-order meals using this pre-order form for your family so we can plan for enough food. Payment can be made in either campus office.
Deadline to order your meals is June 16th. Please ensure proper payment is made at the office by June 16th.

The PTL Bylaws have been brought up to date. Parents are asked to review the draft bylaws in preparation for voting to adopt the updated bylaws at our June 8th meeting.

Participation Opportunities
Social Event
Our MS Mixer event is happening June 9th and we are reaching out to our parent community for food donations and assistance at the evening event. Please review the MS Mixer Parent Assistance signup link and assist where you can. All provisions of food have been assigned hours.
Classroom Cleanup
Parents needed to help ready an elementary classroom for converting to better accommodate the needs of our students. This work needs to be performed outside of student use on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 12:45-3:00 pm prior to June 21st.

Library
There are a couple of needs within our library that our Librarian would appreciate receiving some help with before the end of school.
Year-end BBQ
A couple more parents are needed to help set up and cook for our year-end BBQ lunch. Please contact Lisa at if you are able to assist from 9:00 am onwards on Wednesday., June 21.
Summer Opportunity
Parents, if you are interested in assisting with representing our school at the Dumpling Festival at Town Centre Park from 11:00 am-8:00 pm on Saturday, August 12th, please contact John Lok at . Various shift times will be available.

REMINDER to all parents – please ensure all your participation hours are recorded to the class sheet for your youngest child. The cutoff date for entering your time is June 15th. After this date, the sheets will be locked and reimbursements calculated.
