Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders
As it is getting darker and the weather can make it difficult to see our students and each other we put these points out as reminders:
- We do not stop or park on Frey street. It is easily congested and restricts flow. You may use Frey to drive through, but please do not stop or park on either side of that road.
- Parking lot drop off is at the BACK of the lot. Do not stop or park in the front parking area, but drive through to the back (by the overpass) to let out your students. This is the most time efficient way to let out students and not cause a traffic backlog in the lot.
- Please park in the appropriate spots at McLean Park or along York street. At no time are drivers permitted to stop at the crosswalk or driveway to let out students.
- For the safety of all our children, ALL vehicles are to come to a complete stop at each stop line (Grant Ave. & Frey Pl.), looking both ways before proceeding.
By following the expectations listed in our Handbook and registration booklet we can ensure a community of respect and safety for all.
Empty Cereal Boxes
The Elementary School library is collecting empty cereal boxes to use for a craft. If you have any to provide, please drop them off at the school office.
